The SRT DAS Express-1 AtoN is a complete buoy location monitoring solution that is quickly and easily installed either permanently or temporarily on to any buoy. Its low cost, small size and ease of installation make SRT DAS Express-1 AtoN ideal for smaller buoys or as a temporary hazard marker.
Using certified AIS AtoN Type 1 transmissions SRT DAS Express-1 AtoN will continuously transmit the exact GPS location of the buoy to both your VTS centre display as well as on the chart display of all nearby vessels as a vital navigation aid. This ensures you always know that your buoy is in the correct location and if not due to malfunction or sabotage you are instantly alerted.
SRT DAS Express-1 AtoN is a fully integrated stand alone AIS AtoN designed and engineered to operate for years in even the most extreme conditions. All electronics, including GPS and AIS/VHF are fully sealed within the toughened enclosure. Installing is simple, using the secure bracket system and SRT DAS Express-1 AtoN can operate autonomously for one week using its own internal rechargeable battery, or easily connect to any existing power source with the battery then acting as a back-up.
