Raymarine AIS500 Transceiver
See and be seen with the Raymarine AIS500 Transceiver module. Receive AIS targets and transmit your vessel information to other AIS receivers. The Raymarine AIS500 Transceiver easily interfaces to Raymarine multifunction displays allowing AIS targets to be graphically overlaid in both chartplotter and radar modes.
Operating in the VHF maritime band, the Raymarine AIS500 system includes a built-in VHF splitter, to easily integrate with your existing VHF antenna on the boat (no need for a separate antenna). The Raymarine AIS500 enables the wireless exchange of navigation status between vessels and shore-side traffic monitoring centers. Commercial ships, ocean going vessels and other boats equipped with AIS transmitters broadcast AIS messages that include the vessel’s name, course, speed, and current navigation status.
