Garmin GPSMAP 3006C, GPS & GMR18 Radar Package

Plug into the Garmin Marine Network with the Garmin GPSMAP 3006C, a full-featured chartplotter with a 16 cm colour screen. Whether you choose the
Garmin GPSMAP 3006C or its larger counterpart, the GPSMAP 3010C, you'll get bold, sunlight-readable colour, high-speed processing and the versatility of a multifunction display.

See Graphics in Sharp Detail
With the
Garmin GPSMAP 3006C's crisp reflective screen, you'll get incredible contrast and detailing, even in direct sunlight. Tough enough to withstand rain, sunlight and saltwater spray, the case is fully gasketed and waterproof to IPX7 standards. The Garmin GPSMAP 3006C's slim-line design makes it easy to install in cabin bulkheads or open cockpits. It also provides a remote control, VGA output and video input options, so you can connect a live video feed from your engine room or other area of the boat.

Integrate Easily with Garmin Marine Network
The
Garmin GPSMAP 3006C connects easily to the Garmin Marine Network, so you can interface with additional MFDs and add remote sensors, radar and sonar. Once connected, you can share information between the Garmin GPSMAP 3006C and other chartplotters on your boat.

Add More Marine Maps
The
Garmin GPSMAP 3006C accepts optional BlueChart marine cartography, which provides detailed offshore maps, and includes an enhanced worldwide basemap. Plus, with the latest software, the Garmin GPSMAP 3006C can accept regional BlueChart g2 data cards — g2 brings you 3D maps, tides and currents, depth contours, navaids, port plans, marine services, points of interest (POIs), photo references and more.

The Garmin GMR18 Radar brings you the power of X-band digital marine radar scanning like never before.

Get Powerful Performance
The
Garmin GMR18 Radar is a 4 kilowatt radar with 36 nm range. At 0.45 metres in diameter, it is twice as powerful as most other radars in its size and price range. Combine that with the antenna's 5.0° beamwidth, and you're looking at the best weather penetration and target definition in its class.

To help you avoid traffic on the water, the
Garmin GMR18 Radar provides MARPA target tracking, which allows you to track the bearing, course, speed and predicted closest approach of up to 10 targets. And like all Garmin radars, GMR 18 has self-contained signal processing, which provides you with a more precise, easy to read signature.

Connect to the Garmin Marine Network
The
Garmin GMR18 Radar transmits data over the Garmin Marine Network, a 100-megabit plug-and-play proprietary network that gives you the ability to expand your boat's system as needed. Once connected to the network, you can use any network-compatible Garmin chartplotter as your radar screen. And as an aid to locational awareness, you can overlay the Garmin GMR18 Radar radar image on the chartplotter's map page. You can also split the on-screen display so that you can view the map and the standard radar page simultaneously.
