Family owned and run since 1985
We are a family owned and run business and have been trading since 1985. The company name is actually Forth Area Marine Electronics Ltd, we decided a few years back to adopt a trading name to give us a name and logo in one, to make promoting the business easier. So, what does Blue V. stand for? Well, if you think of the colour of the sea or sky, and voltage, thats it, nothing mysterious at all.
Our opening hours are:
Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm
Sat 10am to 3pm
Sunday closed
With this site, we aim to make it simple for you to buy the products you want at very competitive and attractive prices. We do not go in for gimmicks by saying ‘special offer price’ when it is our normal selling price, unlike other retailers who purport to be offering 'special prices', and then showing an RRP beside it when it is their normal selling price. If we have a price with special offer, it is because it really is compared to our normal price.
If you specifically want a piece of equipment that is not listed on our site, please let us know your requirements as we have access to more equipment than is shown.

All our products are sourced from the official UK Distributors and are not grey imports, this means they are backed up by the warranty offered by these distributors.
We are an authorised Raymarine Sales, Service & Installation Dealer and have been selling and servicing Raymarine equipment, in it's current form, and previous incarnations of Autohelm and Raytheon since the company started in 1985.
